A Cycling Extravaganza in Historic Downtown Mocksville

The Origins

The festival’s roots trace to the spring cycling event started by Farmington Community Events Center in 2019. “FCEC” was looking for a spring event to complement the annual fall Tour of Farmington which celebrates its 15th year in 2024. A desire to make the event bigger and better by adding a bike show and weekend festival drove the decision to move the event from Farmington to downtown Mocksville, where participants could experience local restaurants and shopping as well as the vendors and entertainment in town for the weekend.

What to Expect

The 2024 NC Cycling Festival has something for everyone. Here’s what awaits you during this exciting weekend:

  2. Gran Fondos: Challenge yourself with scenic rides through the Davie County countryside. The gran fondos offer routes for various skill levels, from leisurely pedaling to heart-pounding climbs. All routes leave from Davie YMCA at 215 Cemetery Street and ride down N. Main Street through the heart of the festival.
